(MA) Area League of Artists (GALA) art show 3/23-3/25,
Jan received a 3rd place ribbon from the judges,
as well as the coveted Viewers Choice FIRST PLACE ribbon.

Jan had created two previous fish collage quilts
and sold them.
She missed them so made this new one.

3-D fins,

fish done. It was purchased and resides in St. Lucia.

Jan is a great admirer of the Bigfork Bay Cotton Company, and
the patterns of Toni Whitney. She created this lion from one of their
patterns, and is giving it to her son Bobby, who has always loved lions.

Jan created this fabric collage fish wall hanging for
her quilt guild"s summer 2009 challenge. The challenge
judging takes place in September.
This fish is a 3-D fabric collage, created entirely
from the imagination. Jan calls this quilt "Shake your
tail feathers". The fish's "tails" hang loose.
Many parts of the fish's body are 3-D also.
