Jan created this patch to sew on the chef's jacket of her friend and
neighbor, Rhonda. Jan holds Rhonda personally responsible for half of
her extra pounds, due to the wonderful treats she showers on Jan. She
is, indeed, Sweet and Sinister!

Jan created this custom Christmas Tree skirt for her son Josh, and his fiancee, Adrienne. Its a square skirt, with the words "Live", "Laugh", "Love" and Josh's last name, "Frost" appliqued, one word per side. Everything you see against the green was cut out and appliqued by machine as well.

Jan created this small wall hanging using a paper pieced fishbowl pattern in the center, and tropical fish paper pieced patterns surrounding that. The fish in the bowl must surely be dreaming of the ocean, and the fish on the outside are the fish enjoying the ocean in their dreams!!

Jan based her WILD Flowers quilt on a greeting card she found and loved. She contacted the watercolor artist, Bambi Papais, and obtained permission to use this Fiesta Tulip image as the focal point of this quilt. Jan embellished the quilt with many 3-D flowers and many crystals!!

Jan created this quilt to take to Russia as a gift for Roza and Vladimir, the parents of Jan's new (as of 6/27/09) daughter-in-law, Liliya.

Jan made this quilt to donate to a cancer patient at a local hospital. She and some of her guild friends recently made plans to attempt to work together one Friday per month on cutting and piecing a "cancer quilt". Then Jan and Kathryn will quilt and Nancy will then bind them. We hope! Jan's friend Diane was a cancer patient at this hospital and lost her battle in July 2008. She has left a very large hole in the hearts of a great many people.

Jan's quilt guild's summer challenge was the Wizard of Oz. She was inspired by some photos she found doing a computer search for Wizard of Oz photos. Closeups show more detail.
Jan's quilt guild voted this quilt the 3rd best from the entries for this summer 2008 challenge.

Jan made this theme quilt for the annual quilt challenge of her Material Girls quilt guild of Leonminster, MA. The theme is "My Secret Garden" and the measurement of the 4 sides cannot exceed 125". This is based on the photo shown, which was going around the internet/emails, and Jan thought fit this theme!

This is Jan's first "Artist Trading Card" created as part of a trading card group in her Women's Caucus for Art. Any art medium can be used. Jan used fabric for her first. The theme is "Intimate Spaces".
