Your quilt can be personalized with your pet's name, and you choose the quilt size and colors of the fabrics. All she needs is a good quality photo from which to create your one-of-a-kind portrait of your best friend. Photo will be returned with your quilt. These are not photo transfer quilts. The portrait consists of appliquéd individual pieces of appropriate colored fabric to depict the different areas of your pet, as well as embroidered details such as eyes, nose, mouth, stripes/spots, etc. The quilt to the left is a 25"w x 28" high (not including hanging tabs), hand quilted custom portrait of Jan's cat Keeper. This particular quilt is hung by 4 tabs made from ribbon, hung from an oak-stained dowel. Tabs can be made from fabric which matches your particular quilt. If you prefer your quilt in a diamond shape, or if you would rather your quilt not have tabs, Jan uses 2 piece Velcro (1 piece sewn to back of quilt, the other adheres to the wall). Due to the lightweight nature of the quilts, Velcro is an ideal hanging option. A third hanging option which precludes tabs, is a hidden sleeve on the upper back of the quilt through which a dowel is inserted. With this method only the quilt is shown, the dowel and sleeve are hidden. Pricing/Terms: Prices for a custom portrait: A 50% payment is required in advance. A photo of your quilt will be e-mailed to you for your acceptance prior to shipping. Final payment, including shipping costs, is due prior to release of finished quilt.
