Lissie suffered many ailments over the years and Peggy and Richard finally had to let her go to the Bridge. She is there now with her "brother" Sammy, who went to the Bridge last year. She is missed so much.

Honey-bee's quilt was done as a Fundraiser Donation in that it was displayed at the 2002 CSRNE Joey Fund Auction as a sample of Jan's work. The highest bidder won a portrait quilt. See "Honey" below.

As he is a very senior dog, Jan prepared wings and halo that can be ironed on in the future -very distant future, we hope. (Jan just learned that Joey earned his wings and halo in May 2003. Goodbye sweet boy.) |

When Mark acquired a new kitten, he asked Jan to add Lilly to his quilt of Daisy and Petunia. Jan created Lilly separately and when completed, appliquéd her portrait to the existing quilt. |
