When I first saw the picture on the website, I thought it was really pretty and looked just like them, but it was a quick look and from a distance. It wasn't until I got home and looked at it closely that I realized how amazing the portraits are and the way the colors and patterns and stitching are so smoothly integrated (especially Mr. Molly!). From a distance, you almost take it for granted, like looking at a photo. But then up close, as I saw the incredible detail and all of the individual stitching and material involved, the beauty really is quite startling.
